THE INAUGURATION WILL TAKE PLACE ON 12 JULY AT 15:00.
Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the National Historical Museum of the Alpini on the Doss Trento, the exhibition "29 months of fighting on the Isonzo" will be inaugurated.
The initiative stems from a prestigious international collaboration with the Caporetto Museum (Kobariški Muzej) in Slovenia and sees the valuable contribution of the curator Ms Mojca Dobravec, who will be present at the inauguration.
Through a chronological route, the exhibition panels recount the main phases of the fighting that took place on the Isonzo front during the First World War, from Mount Rombon to the Adriatic Sea, with an in-depth look at the events that led to the outbreak of the conflict.
The exhibition is free to visit and will be open from 12 July to 5 October 2025, during the museum's opening hours.
