The film "Away" will be screened on Wednesday 20 March 2024 for the "Cineforum at the Teatro San Marco" festival
The first screening will be dubbed in Italian while the second screening will be in the original language with Italian subtitles.
Written, produced, directed, scored and animated entirely by the award-winning Latvian director Gints Zilbalodis, Away has been made for over three years, starting with a previous short film on which Zilbalodis worked. The story, told without dialogue on a series of breathtaking backgrounds, is inspired in equal parts by reality, dreams and daydreams.
