It is staged in the regional premiere Behind the light, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November 2023 at the Teatro Sociale di Trento located in the historic centre of the city, a show by and with Cristiana Morganti. A strongly autobiographical show, which tells of a family, professional and intimate crisis, a sequence of events with the typical "domino effect", in which one misfortune seems to call another, in which every single point of reference, every certainty seems to disappear.
The personal story resonates with intensity in those who watch, from the audience, in a historical moment that, with a pandemic, an economic crisis and values, can be defined as one of the most destabilizing of contemporary times. This "personal global crisis" is shown, teased, circumvented, crossed, evaded, overcome thanks to the regenerative power of confession and above all of art, now shouted, now whispered through tears, with the head lying on the floor. Numerous other small, delightful stories lead to an ending that is a delicate return to the interior, after this spontaneous and explosive sharing. The spectacle should not be explained, Cristiana Morganti seems to say, it is better to enjoy the journey, exactly as in life.
