Biomodd [T115] - workshop

From Wednesday 28 to Saturday 31 August 2024 at the MUSE in Trento there will be a four-day workshop with a final exhibition from 1 to 7 September 2024.

Biomodd is a collaborative and community art project born in 2007, with over two dozen iterations. The project seeks new relationships between nature and technology in different cultures around the world, thanks to the creation of hybrid interactive art installations developed on-site with local communities. Through this bottom-up approach and the collaboration of culturally diverse teams, Biomodd proposes not only a visual artistic experience, but also a vision of a co-created future.

During a four-day workshop, citizens will be invited to co-create an experimental system where recycled computers and living ecosystems coexist and reinforce each other. During the days of the workshop, the public is invited to witness the process and engage in critical conversations about our ideas of ecology, progress and technological future.

The event is part of the "Trento Aperta" event, to make the most of summer in the city!
