English composer, producer and visual artist Brian Eno arrives in Trentino with two site-specific multimedia installations.
A true icon of international contemporary culture, Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno is one of the most significant artists of our time.
Moving from an idea of art as an expressive form capable of dialoguing with the environment and the viewer, it uses different media to fuse music and figurative arts, creating real "soundscapes" in which to immerse the viewer. Using displays, moving images and loudspeakers, it creates a combinatorial game of infinite variations of shapes, lights and sounds, where not everything is always as it appears and everything changes imperceptibly, as in life, randomly and inexorably.
In this wake and gathering the suggestions of the spaces of the thirteenth-century Castello del Buonconsiglio di Trento, Brian Eno will create the Audio Installation for Buonconsiglio, a site-specific audio installation that consists of works conceived and created on the basis of the spaces that will host them to create a dynamic flow of sounds.
Installed in nodal points of the castle and integrated into them, these works of generative music will dialogue with the surrounding environments and accompany visitors through a path that, superimposed on the museum exhibition, will offer a synesthetic, unique and unrepeatable listening experience.
The installation will be active every day from 19 August to 6 November 2022, from 10 am to 6 pm (excluding Mondays in September, October and November 2022)
