The Sosat choir will be in concert on Saturday 21 December 2024 to delight us with the atmosphere of Christmas
The proposal stands out for its originality and peculiarity, being aimed - in its articulation and combining, in an unprecedented way, narration, music and chorale in a single fusion - at a deeper understanding of Christmas. Precisely the theme of belonging and identity awareness, which underpins our oral musical tradition, will in fact be declined to illustrate and accompany the sacred and profane aspects that are celebrated at Christmas. Its cultural value lies in being able to go beyond the mere performance of a widely known popular repertoire, to make it a means of understanding one's own particular history and origin, expanded in the universal perspective that Christmas itself indicates.
