The "Trento Aperta" calendar features a series of evenings throughout the summer of 2023, "Le cena del Concilio" at the Tridentino Diocesan Museum in Piazza Duomo in Trento's historic centre.
You are invited to try a culinary experience of the past!
We welcome you to the second season of the Council of Trent Dinners, the initiative that accompanies participants on a journey through time to discover the places, flavours, customs and customs of the time.
The route starts from the Museum halls and continues through the streets and squares of the centre, before concluding with the re-enactment of a dinner served in the splendid setting of a secret garden inspired by the true coexistence of the past.
Thisyear the format is divided into eras: the first two events will lead participants to discover knowledge and flavours on the traces of the council, the customs and habits of the mid-sixteenth century, while the last three will continue the journey through time until the Baroque era, when the search for "wonder" was the end of the parties organised with luxurious pomp and rich banquets.
