Sunday 12 October 2025 at the Borsieri Garden in Civezzano
On the occasion of the three hundredth anniversary of the birth of Giovanni Battista Borsieri de Kanilfeld (1725-2025), the Municipality of Civezzano invites citizens to an afternoon dedicated to the memory of one of the most illustrious figures of the territory.
A doctor of extraordinary ability, a man of vast culture and author of numerous treatises, Giovanni Battista Borsieri was born in Civezzano on 18 February 1725 and dedicated his life to the study and dissemination of scientific and humanistic knowledge.
The event will be held at the evocative Giardino Borsieri, a symbolic and ideal place to pay tribute to a character who has contributed with his wit and passion to the cultural growth of Trentino and beyond.
An opportunity to remember, rediscover and celebrate the value of the knowledge and cultural heritage that Borsieri has left to the community.
