"Europe" is a very famous Swedish rock group formed in 1979 in Upplands Väsby by singer Joey Tempest and guitarist John Norum; thisyear they will be in Trento at the Trentino Music Arena on Tuesday 3 September 2024.
Joey Tempest, John Norum, Mic Michaeli, John Leven and Ian Haugland have some of the songs that have marked the history of a genre, one among them The Final Countdown, which in 2022 reached the milestone of one billion views on YouTube. The line-up shows no signs of getting tired: the same year they set off on a tour of the buildings with Whitesnake and Foreigner, before taking part in a series of festivals and concluding with three sold-out shows in the biggest arenas in Chile, Brazil and Argentina.
2023 marks the fortieth anniversary of Europe's debut album, which the band celebrates with a tour of eighteen concerts in Europe that ends with two shows at the London Palladium.
