VISIT TO THE EXHIBITION AND THE MUSEUM
On the occasion of the exhibition "Faces in time. Portraits and figures of five centuries", the Museo Diocesano Tridentino offers three meetings on the theme of portraiture. The second meeting will be dedicated to the funeral portrait, a representation often devoid of physiognomic details, where recognition takes place thanks to the insignia of rank. The route will allow you to compare the funerary monuments of John Hinderbach and Udalric of Lichtenstein, in which the objective was not to faithfully represent the deceased, but to exalt the prestige achieved in life.
