On Sunday 16 July 2023 at the Rifugio Viote they will present the book "Dal techo di casa vedo il mondo" by Anna Torretta, an Italian mountaineer, climber and writer.
Anna Torretta holds the most records in dry tool climbing, second in the Ice Climbing World Championship in 2002, and second in the Ice Climbing World Cup in 2006.
Born in Turin, she climbs Gran Paradiso for the first time with her parents at the age of twelve.
She has opened numerous grade VI icefalls, from Chile to Turkey, and is the first and only female mountain guide of the Courmayeur Alpine Guide Society, of which she has been a member since 2005.
