The story of the Piper of Hamelin continues to live shrouded in great mystery. Hamelin is the name of a town in northern Germany where legend and reality merged hundreds of years ago: indeed, who does not remember the mysterious disappearance of 130 children? A news story that gradually over the years was able to turn into a fairy tale, first in oral tradition and then in the Grimm Brothers' collection. But what really happened to the children of Hamelin? Where does reality end and fiction begin?
Tonio De Nitto's show will try to tell and retrace the origin of this mystery by playing on different planes: the temporal one divided between the present day and that of history and, finally, the plane of perception because adults and children will be able to follow it through a different point of view.
