Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Autonomy Workshop in Via Tommaso Gar in Trento there will be an event dedicated to the "STORIES OF REPRESSION and RESISTANCE"

Between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century in the Austrian Empire, as well as throughout Europe, repressive policies were increasingly intense and systematic against people identified as "gypsies" who continuously suffered forced expulsions, pushbacks at borders, surveillance and exclusion measures. Some concrete cases set in Tyrol allow us to closely observe these phenomena and, at the same time, to glimpse some forms and strategies of resistance.
