It is an exhibition of intense emotions: the fantastic colours, inventions and great stories of the most sumptuous Venetian eighteenth century will shine in the halls of the Great Palace of the Prince-Bishops of Trento.
Not only to conquer with their beauty but to document, for the first time in a truly extensive way, the influence of Venetian art in the Trentino valleys. Seventy works, many of them large, which will arrive (some will return) in Trento from European and American museums and collections. These are paintings that adorned the palaces and churches of these valleys and that time, wars and family events have lost.
The exhibition is curated by Andrea Tomezzoli (University of Padua) and Denis Ton (Castello del Buonconsiglio).
