The final stage of the Next Gen Basketball Cup arrives in Trento!
Between 22 and 24 February 2024, Il T Giorniano Arena will be awarded the prestigious cup at the end of the tournament that involved the 16 Under 19 formations of the Legabasket Serie A teams. The Trento palasport will play in three days the quarter-finals, semi-finals and very final of the tournament, which has reached its final act after the two phases played in Varese and Biella.
Among the teams that will compete for the title there are also the hosts of the Dolomiti Energia Trentino Under 19, a team made up of young people from the Bianconeri youth sector who, in addition to being students of the city's schools, are also the leading expression of the regional basketball movement. Dolomiti Energia also won the first edition of the trophy in 2019: today the fifth edition is held.
In addition to the games on the field, all the young athletes who took part in the Next Gen Cup participated in dual and post-career training workshops, underlining the importance of school and university training in view of what the boys will be able to do after finishing their playing career.
