The Little King of Flowers is nothing but a fairy tale.
In the fairy tale there is the classic "Once Upon a Time" and also the inevitable "King", who, however, is small and curious here, lives in solitude, loves his garden and has pockets full of tulip bulbs. A journey that is like a dream, on new and unknown routes to the King, which lasts only a day and a night but which seems to enclose the time of a lifetime. Il piccolo Re dei Fiori is the text by Květa Pacovská around which two historic theatre and dance structures have come together, such as Balletto di Roma, which celebrated its sixtiethanniversary in 2020, and Teatro Gioco Vita, which in 2021 celebrates its fiftieth anniversary and at the end of the seventies met the shadow theatre and made an original contribution to the birth of children's theatre. With this project they wanted to explore a form of contamination between languages such as dance, shadow and music, thinking of it expressly for children.
