On April 26, 2024, we danced with KiNK, Kintsugi and FA:B at the Teatro SanbàPolis in Trento as the last stage with electronic music.
The event represents the fourth appointment of Basement, the cycle of events dedicated to electronic music, and is included in the programming of the SanbàClub.
The main event of the evening will be represented by Strahil Velcev a.k.a KiNK. The Sofia-based producer has enjoyed a successful career at festivals and clubs around the world. But KiNK stands out above all for his live talent and his production skills, two aspects that have helped make him a highly sought-after artist. His live shows, rich in interaction with the public, mix hardware and digital, creating a distinctive sound that over the years has made KiNK capable of earning certificates of esteem from the public and critics. His discography, on the other hand, testifies to a careful studio work in which he gave birth to releases on Running Back, Rush Hour, Ovum and Hypercolour, before founding his own label Sofia. KiNK also boasts several accolades including Resident Advisor's Best Live Electronic Act in 2015 and 2016 and Music Radar's Best Live Electronic Act in 2018. Therefore, it is permissible to have high expectations.
Together with KiNK, the evening of 26 April will also see the debut of Kintsugi for Basement. The back-to-back composed by Nicola Belli and Matteo Roma synthesizes more than fifteen years of experience in the world of club culture, bringing the legacy of sounds that come from the cosmopolitan metropolis protagonists of the world of electronic music. In their baggage a certain preference for lopsided two-step garage metrics from the UK and for sounds from Detroit and Chicago.
Opening Act entrusted to FA:B, a young talent who is getting noticed for the artistic sensitivity linked to what revolves around the world of techno. Capable of probing different nuances, from the most experimental to the most dancefloor oriented, FA:B also has an eye for the productive aspect, constantly refining its knowledge and skills.
