The Bolghera is a road cycling race that takes place every March in the Bolghera district of the city of Trento.
The race is open to "Elite" and " Under23" cyclists, it is included in the national calendar as a 1.19 UCI class race.
The first edition of the race was held in 1927 and was won by Rizieri Brunialti. In the first editions it was held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the autumn. From 1949 the event, organised by the Veloce Club Trentino, acquired the role of season opening classic with the date of the first Sunday of spring. The first edition of the new cycle, called the Ignis Grand Prix, was won by Vasco Modena over Gazzini and Angelo Martini. In this formula it was repeated until 1972 and then suspended for traffic reasons. The organization was then taken over in 1986 by the "Francesco Moser Cycling Club" for the different categories.
