Thursday 3 July 2025 at Piazza Cesare Battisti in the historic centre of Trento.

The new programme of the Teatro Capovolto – La città in scena, the summer season of the Teatro Sociale curated by the Centro Servizi Culturali S. Chiara di Trento, is ready to go.

The task of inaugurating the rich billboard will fall to one of the most loved and appreciated faces by Trentino audiences such as Lucio Gardin, who on Thursday 3 July will be on stage in Piazza Cesare Battisti with La DiVin Commedia – Il sommelier la notte non dormate, decanta, a multimedia show that, combining music and images, celebrates the wine world.

For almost two hours, Lucio Gardin will take the audience by the hand and take them on a fascinating journey in which wine is the protagonist, through a narrative seasoned with witty irony that celebrates wine in every aspect: in art, music, history, literature, everyday life, and many other areas.

It will be an opportunity to ironize on the creative and often funny language of sommeliers, taking up and reciting the most famous quotations about wine, from William Shakespeare to Charles Bukowski, and finally also showing the most famous paintings that have wine and the harvest as their object.

A funny show and all to laugh about, but also capable of giving rise to reflections - always with a smile on his lips – on the social value that the winemaker today covers. "In thisage, the winemaker teaches us the value of waiting - observes Lucio Gardin - because there is no App to accelerate the winemaking process, we have to wait, in some cases even decades. It takes patience. Patience, a word unknown today. "

"La DiVin Commedia" is not a simple theatrical show, but an experiential tour in which the senses stimulated will not only be those of the intellect but also those of the palate. At the end of the show there will be a toast offered by Altemasi Trentodoc
