A jazz-soul voice of unforgettable intensity, Lady Blackbird (the one in Trento will be the only date in the Northeast of the Italian summer tour), despite having influences of the most disparate derivation, from Billie Holiday, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner and Chaka Khan, is characterized by an incomparable style and emotional intensity. She became known to the general public with the exciting interpretation of the song "Blackbird" by Nina Simone: a track steeped in passion, enthusiasm and hope that at the same time marked the arrival of an incredible new voice within the global jazz scene.
His debut album "Black Acid Soul", produced by Chris Seefried and recorded in the legendary Studio B (Prince's room) at Sunset Sound, presents a new approach to the typical jazz vocal idiom and has given a small masterpiece to all lovers of black music.
