From 13 to 16 March 2025, Trento's Teatro Sociale will host a special event: an intense four-day exhibition dedicated to Ferzan Ozpetek's show.
After the success of Mine vagantes last season, Ferzan Ozpetek signs for the theater a new stage adaptation of one of his film successes, "Magnifica Presenza". It tells the story of Pietro, a boy from Catania with actor aspirations who moves to Rome. However, his existence in the new house is disturbed by strange presences, which only he can see; it is a bizarre theatrical company with which he then establishes a friendship. Supported by his cousin, who tries to heal him from these continuous hallucinations, Pietro will instead try to go to the bottom of history, trying to understand the reasons that keep this kind of ghosts in the present.
