This was the first question I asked myself, and one that caused me some anxiety, when the idea of dramatising Wandering Mines began to take shape. The first time I told the story to the film producer Domenico Procacci, he was very impressed, adding enthusiastically that it could also become an excellent theatrical text. Shortly after we started the film project and called Ivan Cotroneo to collaborate on the script. Today, at the invitation of Marco Balsamo, that perspective is realized with a choral cast and an installation that leaves the spirit of the film intact.
