The Municipality of Trento adheres to the National Endometriosis Awareness Day scheduled for Friday 28 March with the VI edition of the call to action "Let's shed light on endometriosis" proposed by the Italian Struggle for Endometriosis Awareness Association - Alice Odv Endomarch Team Italy.
The membership will be made public with an image projected on the ledwall on the facade of the Hostello Giovane Europa (courier station side).
Endometriosis is a subtle disease, affecting one in seven people assigned a female at birth, for which the causes are unknown and for which there are no definitive cures. To date, it is estimated that more than 3 million people assigned female at birth are affected by this disease in Italy. In addition, there is a diagnostic delay ranging between 7 and 10 years.
