Saturday, May 18, 2024, with the title: “Let's explore! Because life is always an adventure. Together for Paediatric Palliative Care ", the 3rd Giro d 'Italia of Paediatric Palliative Care organised by Fondazione Hospice Trentino Onlus, Associazione Campo Base Adventure therapy Onlus and the Paediatric Palliative Care Team in collaboration with MUSE is taking place in Trento.
From 2 pm it will be possible to enter the museum free of charge where, both inside and in the park in front, you can participate in a rich programme of activities that include archaeological excavations, creative workshops, themed visits, science shows and circus shows, in addition to the round table "Everyone at his node, together we are a network".
The Giro d 'Italia of the CPPs is promoted, at the national level, by the Maruzza Onlus Foundation and by the informal network "Lovers of paediatric palliative care". The main objective of the event is to promote awareness of Pediatric Palliative Care (PPC) among citizens and raise awareness among social and health professionals and institutions on the subject. The theme of the 2024 events will be the "paediatric palliative care network", in order to provide correct information on the functioning, nodes and roles of all those involved in providing answers to the needs of children and their families.
Program
The activities will begin at 2 p.m., will take place both inside and outside the museum and will be organized in part by MUSE experts and in part by volunteers from the various associations that are part of the CPP network coordinated by Associazione Campo Base.
At 4.30 p.m. in the conference room, the round table "Everyone at their node, together we are a network" will be held, moderated by Enzo Passero, who will see the representatives of the main institutions of the CPP Network discuss.
The event also represents an opportunity to share the aims of the Pediatric Hospice as a fundamental node of a Network that must guarantee complex health responses in environments that recall the size of the home, but also, and above all, the possibility of relief for children and families living with incurable diseases.
The afternoon will end with a performance by the Bubble Soap Circus School.
