The first retrospective ever dedicated to the Trentino painter Vittorio Melchiori (1891-1951).
The exhibition, curated by Domizio Cattoi, curator of the Museum, aims to bring to the attention of the general public the artistic production and the human story of a painter of great talent, praised by contemporaries for his remarkable technical mastery, but later neglected by critics and unjustly forgotten. On display, visitors will be able to admire more than sixty works by Vittorio Melchiori, including paintings, drawings, sketches and cartoons. The exhibition is divided into five sections: portraits, sacred and literary themes, landscapes, still lifes and preparatory studies for monumental works.
