On Saturday 19 August 2023, a film review of the film "Respet" will be held in Piazza Cesare Battisti in the historic centre of the city of Trento on the occasion of the Teatro Capovolto.
Corvaz is a simple and instinctive thirty-year-old who works hard in his father's vineyard and loves to go around with his dog Toni. Mountain village life is all about the bar, owned by the wealthy winemaker/landowner and run by his son's fiancée. When the wooden statues decorating the square are vandalized one night, Corvaz is immediately blamed. Even Mara, the energetic bartender, believes it was him. However, trying to overcome collective hostility, she meets him and a friendship is born between them as the community's desire for revenge grows stronger and stronger. The code of respect that kept them all together is now broken.
