From 21 April to 1 October 2023, the first monograph dedicated to Sergio Perdomi will be held at the Castello del Buonconsiglio in Trento.
Since 1920 he has been a highly regarded photographer of the Office of Fine Arts and then at the head of the Superintendence of Trento.
The exhibition, curated by Katia Malatesta and Maddalena Ferrari, through a rich selection of over 170 works, tells the multifaceted personality of the photographer, also active as an editor and the first true photojournalist in Trentino. Its vast professional archive can be considered an extraordinary insight into life, customs and society: among the ravages of war is the birth of new construction sites and major architectural and decorative achievements, the exhibition itinerary allows us to retrace the atmospheres and contradictions of the society of 100 years ago.
