On Thursday, January 23, 2025, the documentary "The courage of a man" will be screened for the first time at the Cinema Modena in Trento. Notes on Giacomo Matteotti" which traces the life of the socialist politician through four conversations and six graphic animations. Free admission.
The director of the Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino, Giuseppe Ferrandi, introduces the screening.
The film highlights Matteotti's leading role in the history of Italy from the outbreak of the First World War until the advent of fascism. To punctuate and punctuate the story of the public man, the film also investigates his private life through the letters written by his wife Velia Titta. The documentary was filmed between Trento, Bolzano, Fratta Polesine and Gardone Riviera.
