During the "Festival della Famiglia", which takes place in Trento from 2 to 7 December 2023, there are two unmissable events dedicated to families: "Sport in Famiglia" on Saturday 2 December and the "Family Marathon" on Sunday 3 December 2023. This event is not only scientific seminars, but also space for leisure, cultural and sporting events. The goal is one: family fun! So are you ready for the first family marathon?
Trento Family Marathon
It is a non-competitive 5-kilometre walk/run through the streets of the city centre of Trento, organised by the Agency for Social Cohesion of the Autonomous Province of Trento with the support of UISP (Italian Union of Sport for All). To have fun with family, friends and organised groups, walking, marching or using strollers, rollers or scooters. An event dedicated to people of all ages from toddlers to grandparents, focusing on social inclusion and sports education. The initiative is open to all and free of cars.
At the end of the event, prizes will be awarded to the participating families where the desire to have fun and be together will also be rewarded. After the awards ceremony there will be a delicious snack, entertainment with music and cotton candy for everyone.
