The Harlem Gospel Choir is America's most famous gospel choir, as well as one of its longest-running. Since 1986, Allen Bailey and his choir, made up of the most beautiful voices from Harlem and New York City, have been traveling the world sharing joy in the Faith and raising funds to donate to good works. In over 25 years of a great career, the Harlem Gospel Choir has always tried to overcome cultural barriers by uniting nations and people.
The concert is dedicated to Aretha Franklin, an American singer-songwriter and pianist, one of the icons of gospel, soul and R&B music. She was nicknamed ‘The Queen of Soul’ or ’Lady Soul’ for her ability to add a soulful vein to anything she sang, and for her vocal qualities.
