Are you looking for a pond to spend a few hours of fun and relaxation in the mountains? Come fishing at Lake delle Buse in Trentino!
The Piné Plateau, not far from the town of Brusago, boasts a small and pretty trout-fishing pond, famous for its annual events for young fishermen. This theatre, where competitions are held for very young sympathisers, is called Lake Buse. Thanks to the skilful management of the territory by the local authorities and the fishermen's association, Lake Buse is today a splendid fishing spot for the whole family: not only trout to be fished in company, but also walks, relaxation in the open air and picnics in the purest nature
The Buse Pond in Brusago
Lake Buse rises within a cross-country skiing ring, at an altitude of about 1,000 metres. It is actually composed of two ponds interspersed with an islet, both rectangular in shape. It has a shallow depth, which goes beyond one and a half meters in height. The harsh, typically mountainous climate means that the lake freezes in the winter, while in the summer it is home to excellent specimens of rainbow trout, which move freely in cool and perfectly oxygenated waters. The sides are very comfortable, perfectly arranged and particularly well-maintained. Around the lake there is also space for a bar, ample parking and a relaxation area where you can play with the family, sunbathe, read a book or practice other outdoor activities.
Fishing Regulations
The fishing activity is regulated by the APDT of Trento, which manages the pond and sows adult material every 14 days, on Fridays. Lake Buse opens approximately in March/April, depending on the water conditions (they must not be frozen) and closes in October. The daily permit is required for everyone, including children, and costs € 15.00. The possession of the type B license is not required. It allows the capture of a maximum of 5 salmonids, both with natural bait (camole, earthworms) and with artificial bait (fake camole, batter, metal and rubber bait). If in doubt, the APDT responds to 0461 930093 or by email to info@apdt.it . With a view to maximum sportiness and respect for prey, we suggest, however, to practice catch & release. Teaching prey release may be particularly important for children, moving them towards a common practice of protecting the environment.
Trout Area and Lake Trout at Lake Buse
At Lake Buse you can enjoy all kinds of fishing dedicated to trout in the pond: trout area, spinning, tremarella, fly fishing. The most fun and profitable are the trout area and the tremarella. To practice the trout area or trout area, you must equip yourself with a barrel in two pieces from 0.5/5 grams, reel size 1,000 and hard baits as waving spoons from 2.5/5 grams. The recovery of the trout is particularly exciting, because the fish attack the baits usually in the middle of the lake, after chasing them for a few meters during the alternate recovery. Tremarella, on the other hand, can be applied with a 4-metre rod, with a 2/5 gram action, equipped with a 3/4 gram slide and a 80/120-centimetre terminal. The triggering of a camola or camola and earthworm will attract the often enamelled trout, which will chase the bait before attacking it with maximum voracity: a sign of prey in excellent health swimming in crystal clear waters.
