Thirty hundred experts from all over the world. Objective to elaborate the proposals to be taken to Cop29 scheduled in Baku in Azerbaijan
With the title "Global Governance of Climate Change and Sustainability", the third edition of the Dolomite Conference opened today in Trento, an initiative that sees the participation of over a hundred delegates, including teachers, students, entrepreneurs, journalists and managers, from all over the world. "The issue of climate and major environmental changes touches closely on the Trentino area, due to the peculiarity of the Alpine natural environment. This opportunity for discussion is particularly important, because it helps Trentino to govern major changes with a view to sustainability.
An opportunity for comparison and encounter between different realities and cultures, the conference brings together international realities and representatives from countries often divided by open conflicts or contrasts to respond to the common emergency of climate change. Delegates from Lebanon, the United States, China, India, Brazil, Uganda, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are in attendance. The intention of the organizers is to find common ground to foster exchanges and collaboration with a view to a shared goal. The result of the work will be a document of proposals to be taken to Cop29 next month in Baku, Azerbaijan.
