Dante and the Divine Comedy told through the eyes and voices of librarians and the bibliographic and documentary heritage of the Trento Municipal Library.
A calendar full of events ranging from exhibitions with guided tours to escape rooms, from theatrical recitals to impossible interviews, from drawing, scrapbooking and poetry workshops to an "Open mic" to give voice to our audience.

Books, documents and images on Dante, on the Divine Comedy and on the relevance of the poet in our city, from the collections of the Library and the Historical Archive of the Municipality of Trento.Bibliographical exhibition "In the middle of the walk... where you meet Dante, his face and his art".
Exhibition of fiction and popular books, graphic novels and comics from the collections of the Municipal Library of Trento to introduce Dante and the Divine Comedy with the eyes and with the heart.
The two exhibitions can be visited from 28 April to 17 May during public opening hours.

Guided tour of the bibliographical exhibition "What our language could" and impossible interview.
The guided tour of the exhibition is by reservation and will end with the impossible interview "... Isn't it Francesca?", freely taken from Edoardo Sanguineti. It is an imaginary interview that, with irony and humanity, will give life and voice to the well-known figure of Francesca da Rimini.

"Escape from Hell" Escape room (16-99 years old).
Inspired by the Divine Comedy, it is a live escape game and logic, which is lived in the first person, in which participants must solve puzzles and literary games to find a way out of the infernal groups placed in the various rooms of the library.
Participation by reservation is open to everyone from the age of 16.

"Dante in postcard" Scrapbooking and poetry workshop.
A creative and reflective experience dedicated to Dante and his poetics. Students will have the opportunity to create, using different materials, postcards with words taken from the most significant verses of the Supreme Poet and evocative images related to Dantean themes.
On reservation for two-year and three-year high school class groups. Duration: two hours.
"Hell: the lives of others" Creative writing workshop.
Taking inspiration from the book Danteide by Piero Trellini, a creative writing workshop on the Dantean characters who really existed, just touched in the Comedy or completely silenced. The missing or misplaced pieces of these existences will be the subject of a fantastic rewriting, between certain clues and unexpected slippery events.
On reservation for three-year high school class groups. Duration: two hours.
