November 5, 2026 / 10.00 am - 6.00 pm
On 5 and 6 November 2026, at the MUSE – Science Museum of Trento, EuBiReCo 2026 – Euregio Biodiversity Research Conference will be held, an international conference dedicated to research on biodiversity and alpine ecosystems, promoted as part of the cross-border collaboration of the Euregio Tirolo-Alto Adige-Trentino.
The event will bring together researchers, students, professionals, local administrations and those responsible for protected areas to explore the new challenges of the conservation of mountain environments. The programme will address the role of innovative technologies and Big Data in the study of biodiversity, the protection of extreme habitats, participatory research and biological interactions, from genes to ecosystems.
The conference will also enhance the contribution of young researchers and promote the creation of collaboration networks between scientific institutions and local realities. Speeches by international speakers will offer interdisciplinary perspectives on the consequences of climate change and on strategies to protect the Alpine natural heritage.
