On 28 and 29 October, the Trento Municipal Library hosts young composers and a high-profile international jury. The popular jury is also the protagonist, with the students of the Bonporti and Prati high schools and the possibility for citizens to participate.
An event dedicated to the new languages of contemporary cultured music, which over the years has involved young composers from different countries and represents a concrete opportunity to enhance new ideas, artistic sensibilities and emerging compositional paths.
The event will take place in the evocative Sala degli Freschi of the Municipal Library of Trento, in Via Roma, a space of particular historical and artistic charm that will offer a significant setting for the encounter between contemporary composition, listening and cultural comparison.
The European Creative Contest stands out for its international vocation and attention to the new generations. It is not only a competition between composers, but a place of dialogue in which music becomes an opportunity for research, experimentation and sharing. The competition invites questions about the directions of contemporary music and the role that young authors can play in renewing its language.
