An easy trek from Meano to Argentario accompanied by the mid-mountain guides of the Argentario Ecomuseum to appreciate the Calisio area and its unique features along the ancient Via Claudia Augusta Altinate.
Departure from Piazza dell'Assunta in Meano, passing through the park of the “Fondazione Salvadori Zanatta” and then climbing towards “la Facchina”.
A scenic and historic route that is much appreciated because it remains at a higher altitude than the town, avoiding urban traffic and offering a view of the Adige Valley, just as the ancient imperial road did to maintain a constant and safe gradient.
Arrival at Maso Bolleri on the road that climbs towards Montevaccino and descends towards Martignano park for a moment of physical recovery with stretching and breathing exercises led by a specialized athletic trainer and physiotherapist.
The walk then continues with the climb towards Maso Bergamini through the vineyards and a 180-degree view of the city of Trento.
Arrival at around 1:00 p.m. at the Maso Bergamini farm, where some local organic products will be presented and tasted: from Calisio saffron to organic wines from the cellar.
Where: from Piazza Assunta in Meano to Maso Bergamini, overlooking the hamlets of Cognola and Martignano.
Time: from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m.
Meeting place: 9:00 a.m. at Piazza dell'Assunta in Meano.
Excursion organized by the guides of the Argentario Ecomuseum.
Please note: easy route with no particular difficulties, but given the length, some training is recommended.
In case of bad weather: the excursion will be canceled and the tasting at Maso Bergamini will be confirmed and brought forward to 12:00 p.m.
Free participation with registration until all available places are filled.
