Located on the panoramic Doss Trento, next to the Mausoleum of Cesare Battisti, the National Historical Museum of the Alpini preserves a precious heritage of memorabilia, uniforms, weapons, photographs and documents that trace over 150 years of history of the Alpine Corps, from its foundation in 1872 to the present day.
Inaugurated in 1958 and recently expanded and redeveloped, the museum offers an engaging exhibition itinerary that tells not only the main historical events of the Alps, but also the values of courage, solidarity and spirit of service that have always distinguished them.
The visit is led by an Alpine man on duty at the museum, who accompanies visitors through the different rooms, sharing stories, curiosities and testimonies related to one of the most beloved and representative bodies in Italy. An experience that allows you to get to know a tradition deeply linked to the Alpine territory and also appreciated at an international level.

From 1 to 31 August you can take part in free guided tours to discover the National Historical Alpine Museum.
The visits take place every day at 2:00 p.m., last about 1 hour and are offered in Italian on Tuesdays and in English on Wednesdays.
Reservations are required. Each visit has a maximum of 25 participants.
Cost: free participation. Only on museum opening days!
