In Trento, Christmas arrives early and brings with it a magical atmosphere, made of sparkling lights, music, colours and traditions. On Saturday, November 21, 2026, the city is preparing to officially kick off the Christmas holidays with the opening of all Christmas venues, an unmissable event for young and old.
Programme:
- Starting at 4 pm, in Piazza Dante, the celebrations that will enliven the historic centre in the late afternoon will begin.
- At 5 pm, the event will move to Piazza Duomo, where the voices of the Liceo Musicale Bonporti will accompany an engaging musical moment.
- Next, the large Christmas tree and the spectacular photomapping installations will light up, transforming the square into a bright and enchanted setting.
- The route will continue, accompanied by the Musical Corps of the city of Trento, among the traditional Christmas Markets, the evocative atmospheres of the beautiful illuminated gardens of San Marco and the festively dressed squares, ending around 7 pm in Piazza Mostra.
The inauguration marks the beginning of the "Trento Città del Natale" exhibition, which will accompany citizens and visitors until January 2026, with many opportunities to experience the city and be conquered by the magic of the festivities. Trento is ready to shine: don't miss it!
