I present you the work is an initiative of the museum designed to enhance and make known its heritage: every second Wednesday of the month, at 6:00 pm, a work is presented to the public, in a relaxed atmosphere, which will be exhibited for the following weeks in the Bishops' Hall.

On Wednesday, June 10, at the monthly appointment with Ti Presento l 'Opera, a dialogue between art, memory and sustainability came to life starting from a precious liturgical parade preserved in the museum's collections.

Together with Dario De Cristofaro, curator of the Museum, and Silvia Atzori, creator of the External linkAtotus project, a circular economy circuit, we discovered the history hidden among the intertwining of this fabric: an artifact that, although intended for liturgical use, clearly reveals the reuse of previous fabrics, as evidenced by the unusual plant decorations for an ecclesiastical work. An example of how recovery and transformation practices were already widespread in the past and how they are still current today.

Through the comparison between historical heritage and contemporary practices of textile recycling, the meeting offered a reflection on the value of reuse, transformation and sustainability over time. Moderated by Francesca Jurman.

The event ended with an aperitif in the Clesian Refectory, organized by the Cafeteria of the Museum, an informal opportunity to continue the dialogue with the speakers.

The work will remain on display in the following weeks in the Bishops' Hall of the Castle, thus offering everyone the opportunity to observe it closely and delve into its history.
