Refreshing the torrid summer of thisyear will be the fourth edition of the "Risalite" festival that will enliven the foothill village of Montevaccino (TN) and organized by the PierA Space Association of Trento. It is a tasty and fresh artistic cocktail in which various forms of expression will harmoniously find space: from visual art to works of contemporary theatre, research, experimentation as well as engaging moments of music and performance.
The evocative and original artistic initiative will enliven the days of Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August, finding as original and precious meeting places the streets, the woods, and some public spaces of the Calisian hamlet where concerts, theatrical performances, dance performances, site-specific artistic interventions, photographic exhibitions, guided tours, walks and activities for children will be staged.
Here is the detailed programme of the initiative:
Friday 21 August 2026
- 17.00 – Opening of the space at Montevaccino Park with welcome.
- 17.30 - Inauguration of the fourth edition of Risalite Festival, BORDERS, of visual works in public space and of the photographic exhibition.
- 18.00 - Visit to the photographic exhibition "Cartografie dell 'orizzonte", by Francesca Marconi, a Waiting Room project curated by Luca Bertoldi and Giusi Campisi in the Castello di Carta library.
Followed by a guided tour of the works with the artists Anna Martinatti, Beatrice Cera and Irene Stellin, and a screening of "Life at the Castle. De Carli family between art and memory" curated by Sbrega Studio. Departure from the Social Centre.
- 20.30 – Centro sociale – "La società dei rebelelli" playwright and director Maura Pettorruso, with Andrea Bonfanti and Stefano Pietro Detassis, PequodCompagnia production and TeatroE ETS.
- 21.30 – Montevaccino Park - Mad Medulla band plays live.
Saturday 22 August 2026
- 16.00 – Montevaccino Park - Dashed line - Conversation on the subject of borders with Gabriel Echeverría, researcher in applied sociology (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and Stefano Pradel, researcher in Spanish literature (Universitas Mercatorum).
- 17.30 – Piazza della Chiesa di San Leonardo di Noblat - Reading of the Ruler's Papers with Anna Martinatti.
- 18.00 – Montevaccino Park – Luciano Forlese plays live
- 19.00 – Montevaccino Park – "Dormienti" - Itinerant theatrical performance of return of the theatrical workshop, curated by 9C Teatro, by Gaia Amico.
- 20.45 – Via del Mont de Sora n. 8 – "UMANζ" - Theatrical show by and with Camilla Violante Scheller
- 21.30 – Montevaccino Park - The band Dirty Krcma plays live
Sunday 23 August 2026
- 14.00 - Boundaries between man and nature in the Calisio woods - Walk with the Argentario Ecomuseum accompanied by Simone Filippo and the artist Anna Martinatti (Departure from the Park, simple itinerary suitable for families. 3 km., altitude difference 130 metres).
- 15.30 – Montevaccino Park - On the skin of the border. Start of the collective drawing space, curated by V.O.I.C.E.
- 16.00 – Centro Sociale - Clownerentola - Show for the new generations, by the company Bottega Buffa CircoVacanti, for all ages. Here's a snack for everyone.
- 16.30 – Montevaccino Park - Guided tour of the works with the artists Anna Martinatti, Beatrice Cera and Irene Stellin.
- 17.00 – Montevaccino Park - Opening of the small local artisan market .
- 18.00 – Strada di Val Calda no. 3 - Winds of Change - Reading on the subject of borders, written and interpreted by Giulio Macrì.
- 18.30 – Montevaccino Park - The Teriyaki Trio plays live.
- 20.30 – Social Centre - Love Me Horror - theatre show by the Manuelli/Baladam company.
- 21.30 - Closure of Risalite festival.
For the entire duration of the events, Black Sheep Trento and Maso Martis will be present.
