Every Monday in November 2026, from 15:00 to 17:00, at the MUSE – Science Museum of Trento, the Science Circle will take place, a cycle of five meetings dedicated to retired people who wish to deepen scientific issues, cultivate new interests and share social opportunities.
The initiative combines scientific dissemination, continuous learning and well-being, proposing a programme that ranges from the history of silk production to new archaeological discoveries on the Prehistory of Trentino. The meetings will also offer the opportunity to learn about the history and architecture of the Muse, delve into the world of snakes and vipers and reflect on the protection of biodiversity through a participatory experience.
Led by the museum's experts, participants will explore different topics, stimulate curiosity and discover new ways of interpreting the relationship between science, the environment and society.

2 November, 15:00 -17:00- Silk: the story of a thread. From the rearing of the worm to the production of yarn, up to the technological applications of silk. Curated by Maria Vittoria Zucchelli.
9 November, 15:00 -17:00– New discoveries about the Prehistory of Trentino. Finds, archaeological methodologies and recent discoveries. Curated by Rossella Duches.
16 November, 15:00–17:00 – The MUSE and its history. The evolution of venues, architecture and environmental sustainability. Curated by Lavinia Del Longo and Ivan Musculino.
23 November, 15:00 -17:00 – Snakes and vipers. Between myth and nature. Characteristics, adaptations and ecological role of these reptiles. Curated by Karol Tabarelli De Fatis.
30 November, 15:00 -17:00 – The Parliament of Biodiversity. An activity of reflection on the point of view of other species and on the needs of all living beings.
