On June 18, 2025, the city of Trento hosted a prestigious international initiative dedicated to one of the most urgent and current environmental issues: the rehabilitation of lakes.
The meeting was created with the aim of offering a scientific and qualified contribution to the public and technical debate on the protection and regeneration of lake ecosystems, involving experts, institutions and international realities.
An event that underlines the commitment of the Trentino area in environmental sustainability and in the protection of water resources, and that aims to generate comparison, knowledge and concrete actions.
An opportunity for global dialogue, hosted in the heart of the Alps.

In fact, we will host three of the most important lake rehabilitation experts in Europe.
This continues the commitment of the Lakes Protection Committee, for which we were awarded the Legambiente Green Flag 2025, to research possible solutions for the rehabilitation and protection of our lakes. As we know, there are many causes of degradation and there can be many solutions to be adopted, even at the same time, to solve the problem.
The speeches on 18 June will be in English, but simultaneous translation will be available.
