Bodies of water – Dance, movement and landscape at MUSE - Science Museum of Trento

9 September 2026 | 6.00 am and 8.30 pm

On the occasion of the Oriente Occidente festival, the MUSE hosts an immersive performance that investigates the deep link between the human body and water through the language of dance.

Simona Deaconescu's choreography accompanies the audience in a scenic landscape composed of transparent sculptures, where water becomes a living element and a generator of rhythm. Three performers explore the ongoing dialogue between movement, matter and the environment, shaping the invisible flows that run through our bodies and the planet.

Water is part of us: it flows in our cells, manifests itself in tears and sweat, shapes territories through continuous currents and transformations. Dance thus becomes a way to tell the deep relationship between human beings and nature, between what surrounds us and what inhabits us.

A poetic and engaging experience that invites us to reflect on water as vital matter, memory of the planet and a force capable of connecting all forms of life.
