On Sunday, January 7, 2024, the Teatro Sociale in Trento will host the work of Renzo Boldrini and Michelangelo Campanale entitled "The Queen of Snows. Final battle ", played by Alice Bachi. A production of Giallo Mare Minimal Teatro.
First appointment of the new year with the Season of "Esappo a teatro FAMILIAS", the programming of the Santa Chiara Cultural Services Centre dedicated to children's theatre, carried out with the Trentino Theatre Coordination (which uses the artistic advice of Giovanna Palmieri).
The Snow Queen is a story that has as protagonists two female figures: the sovereign who with her powers bewitches humans reducing them to automata devoid of memory and feelings and Gerda, a girl who faces a thousand vicissitudes to free her friend Kay, a prisoner of the Snow Queen.
This is the background against which, as in a game of mirrors, the story of Margherita isgrafted, a girl who as a child, together with her heartfelt friend Giacomo, loved to listen to the tale of the Queen from her grandmother's voice. Margherita has never forgotten that fairy tale but, unlike the child in the story, she has never found the courage to face and defeat her fears and thus give a "happy ending" to her personal story.
Thanks to a dream, Margherita, now an adult, returns to her grandmother's house where she listened to Kay and Gerda's story. Rediscover the places of her childhood, rediscovering what she loved most: a wardrobe with a mirror that becomes a door that allows her to relate fairytale and reality, past and present. Margherita faces and overcomes her fears and, defeating the Snow Queen, finally becomes truly "great".
