All aboard the carriage!
A tour to discover the magic of some of Trentino's castles and cribs and Trento's Christmas Market, with some tasty breaks! Trentino is not only a land of majestic mountains and romantic Alpine lakes: perched on rocky spurs, or nestled on placid hills, there are dozens and dozens of castles that have dominated valleys and ancient roads for centuries. Each one tells a different story, with the flavor of legend. How about discovering them? One of the most original ways to visit some of Trentino's most important castles is to board the Castles Train. This particular train leaves from Trento in winter, and takes you between Val di Sole and Val di Non to discover the wonderful cribs of Ossana, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, two castles in Val di Non and Val di Sole, and the Trento Christmas Market. The tour lasts a day and you are offered tasty snacks of local products along the way. The program will depart from the Trento-Malè train station in Trento, a capital city rich in history and art, nestled in the heart of the Alps, and head to Castello San Michele in Val di Sole. Also in Ossana, there will be time to visit the famous nativity scenes in the ancient village, moving on to the residence of Castel Valer. Between visits a healthy breakfast offered by Melinda and SOSI Trento, a tasty lunch, accompanied by the wines offered by Cantina Rotari, with local products at the Giardino restaurant in Cles, and finally the return to Trento for a visit to the Christmas Market with a final toast of mulled wine.
