This green area is particularly important for its remarkable natural value: numerous winged inhabitants of the forest expanses, including the black woodpecker, grey woodpecker, tawny owl, little owl, goshawk, and sparrowhawk. In the shade of the beech trees, it is possible to find hellebore (Helleborus niger), primroses (Primula veris and Primula vulgaris), and liverleaf (Hepatica nobilis).
