The classic Sunday afternoon route on Trento's "Verruca": a mix of historical and natural beauty just a stone's throw from the center.
The proposed itinerary starts from Piedicastello and leads to Dos Trento, a small hilly elevation on the right bank of the Adige, from which you can admire a spectacular panorama of the city of Trento.
This green area is particularly important for its remarkable naturalistic value: numerous floral species are present throughout the area, such as Stipa capillata, Onanis rotundifolia, Oputia vulgaris, and many others. Also from a faunal point of view, the hill presents many interesting and characteristic species: hedgehogs, wild mice, weasels, pine martens, badgers, and foxes, as well as numerous species of birds and reptiles.
To see: Museum, Mausoleum, wood, panorama, remains of the perimeter of an early Christian basilica.
