An exciting route through wooded expanses, village traditions, and treasures to discover.
The proposed itinerary starts from Garniga and offers a circular route through meadows and paths, characteristic of a natural garden with precious and therapeutic alpine herbs.
This green area holds particular importance for its notable naturalistic value, being surrounded by coniferous forests and rocky peaks. The splendid basin where the former Malga Albi is located is interesting, framed by beech, fir, and larch forests. A fundamental element of this area is constituted by the herbs collected in the meadows of Monte Bondone, with which relaxing and healing herb baths are practiced.
To see: Rocal church, Rifugio Sparavei, beech and fir forests, the villages of Garniga Terme and Garniga Vecchia, the cemetery chapel.
