Of the ancient church there are some ruins and the bell tower, which according to tradition was obtained from the tower of Castel Meano.
Sources name it from 1485, but the archaeological excavations carried out during the recent restoration have revealed an older phase, as well as a pre-existing building that could correspond to the castle. The bell of San Martino called the inhabitants to the general assembly at Campo della Croce at the foot of the hill, where the Cà Comuna will rise. It fell into ruin at the end of the 18th century, replaced by the current church of Gazzadina.
