The history of Aldenese viticulture dates back to a few centuries ago, when men walked the streets of this small town in Trentino, transforming their love for the land into some of the best wines in the region. At that time, little was enough: a piece of land, passion and patience.
During the nineteenth century, the cultivation techniques were refined and the hills surrounding the town were gradually covered with pergolas, while in the valley floor after the new cutting of the Adige the "caesures" delimited the vines of particular quality to which new sandy and fertile soils are added.
The landscape finds its own character, as do the people who make viticulture their main activity on which to base their future, their life. And it is precisely this dream that in 1910 led a group of producers to bet on Aldeno Wine, deciding to combine their efforts in the Aldeno Social Winery.
